Snips and snails and puppy dog tails

Is there anything cuter than a little baby boy, his baseball bat and puppy? Little Matthew is such a happy baby and wasn't phased by the crazy lady with the camera :) Caddy worked it for the camera as well and was a good sport throughout this session!

Memories

There are many aspects of photography and being a photographer that I love, but capturing memories and special moments has to be the main reason. Pictures bring back memories that our minds have long forgotten. A single image can bring back a flood of emotions as strong as when the picture was taken. I don't want to miss a single moment with my own family, and the fact that I get to capture special moments for my clients is truly an honor.

Joyce, this blog is dedicated to you. The love you have for your family is priceless and precious. The deep connection you and your family share radiated that Saturday morning, and I am so happy to have been there to experience that and capture these memories for you.

Photoshop has provided digital photographers a "digital darkroom" in which options for editing are endless. Here are a few of my favorite enhancements:

Classic Color

Traditional Black and White

Vanilla: a cross between black and white and sepia

Split: Golden tones produce a warm image

Vintage: Light, pastel colors

Each of these enhancements give the same picture a different look and feel. Everyone has their favorite-which is yours?

Goin' to the Chapel

Marisa and Ryan are married!

Marisa didn't wear a traditional white dress or veil and I love that! Her dress was beautiful and as she put it, "her." The flowers were lovely-check out the beautiful colors! They remind me of a summer sunset with the bright orange, yellow and red!
